As I write the songs for the upcoming album right now, I listen to Carole King’s Tapestry on repeat. She knows how to say so much with so few words. “I Feel the Earth Move” is such an iconic masterpiece lyrically that it fits in to any style and any genre. I personally heard it swing in my head, so here’s an arrangement that swings. Maybe someone will step up and write this as a big band chart. I’ll be there to sing it!
