CELEBRITY EQUINOX | ARUBA | BONAIRE| CURAÇAO | JUNE 2023

This is our cruise voyage on Celebrity Equinox from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to the ABC Island - Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao from May 27 — June 3, 2023. Our first destination is Aruba, known as "One Happy Island" for its amazing beaches and year-round sunshine. Started the day in Oranjestad, the capital city. We took a taxi and did some self exploring in the hotel zone before heading to MooMba Beach for our tour, which was an off-the-ship snorkeling excursion onboard the Jolly Pirate Boat. In Curacao, we took a 30-minute taxi to the famous Pig Beach, Playa Porto Marie. More snorkeling and relaxation in the warm sun. Afterward, we headed back into town and explored the colorful colonial buildings, had a quick snack, and maybe did some duty-free shopping. Finally, we arrived in Bonaire, where we took a 15-minute taxi to the Chogogo Beach Resort that offered a large pool, lazy river, and more snorkeling. Lesser known location, very relaxing, and cheap if you are on a budget. Activites on the ship included glass making, golf, archery, pickleball, scotch and bourbon tasting and much more. This was our first cruise on Celebrity, and it was definitely an upper-class ship for the mature and senior clientele.
