On the solemnity of the Andean highlands the spirit of a great millennial race wanders; when evoking it the pilgrim feels how great the scenery. Eduardo Caba ========= The series of "Aires Indios (de Bolivia) [(Bolivian) Indio's Airs/Indian Airs]" preserve the conceptions of the traditional music and scenaries of Bolivian highlands. The Aires Indios are published in several versions by different publishers (and even Nos.7-10 have never been published). The score I performed is based on the score organized and edited by the Pianist and musicologist Mariana Alandia Navajas and Javier Parrado Moscoso published in 2016 (which is based on Editorial Carlos S. Lottermoser (1946) for Nos.1-3, Editorial Ricordi Americana (1943) for Nos.4-6, and manuscripts for Nos.1-10) *The manuscript of No.8 is probably not exist neither published. But there was a manuscript - with no title and numbering - with a handwritten text which is used for the published Aires Indios score. Therefore the editors decided to put as No.8 I'd like to give a huge thanks to Ms.Mariana Alandia Navajas and Mr.Javier Parrado Moscoso who edited, published and provided me the score.
