We explored this fascinating and remote abandoned stone house, hidden atop a rugged and majestic mountain. The dwelling is sheltered by an unforgiving landscape that, in times past, demanded a herculean effort to reach and, in turn, protected it from looters, keeping its interior intact. In its origins, more than a century ago, the place was nothing more than a shepherd's refuge defying the alpine cold. However, with the passage of time and a desire for isolation, a loving elderly couple painstakingly renovated the space. This dedication allowed them to live in absolute peace for many years, eventually making it their permanent home. Sadly, advanced age and the inaccessibility of the terrain took their toll on its last inhabitants. Adding to this, they both passed away peacefully in their beds, unnoticed by anyone in the valley. Since then, time seems to have stood still, and everything lies here, shrouded in oblivion and dust.
