El socio de Zapatero confiesa: “Hay indicios de que se haya producido tráfico de influencias”

The lawyer and president of Iustitia Europa, Luis María Pardo, who is acting as the private prosecutor in the Plus Ultra case, analyzed the recent nearly four-hour testimony of Julio Martínez, a business partner of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, on the program "El Cascabel." Pardo described Martínez's cooperation as a "new breakthrough" for the investigation. According to the lawyer, it is "very positive that Julio Martínez has already admitted to a good part of the facts," including his relationship with Zapatero, the companies that were formed, and the 1% commission on the €53 million bailout of Plus Ultra. Following this confession, Pardo believes the big question is "which body did Mr. Rodríguez Zapatero influence?" Pardo points directly to the Council of Ministers, since it was the institution that ultimately had to approve the aid.
