In this video, I put the cheapest audio monitors from @kaliaudio, the LP-UNF (Ultra Near Field), to a real-world test. I removed my main three-way monitors (IN-5) and spent 8 days mixing exclusively with these small 4.5-inch monitors to understand if they can handle the demands of a professional studio. What you'll see in this test: Ideal installation and positioning in small rooms (distance and angle). Connections: Balanced TRS, RCA, Bluetooth, and USB-C (no interface needed). Bass and subwoofer response: do they really deliver what they promise, or is the sound "thin"? Direct comparison of perceived 2-way vs. 3-way monitors. Practical tests with mixing vocals, piano, and beats with heavy sub-bass. Is it worth investing in Kali Audio's entry-level model, or is it better to save up for a three-way system?
