After the Mystery Machine gets a flat tire, the gang stays at the Rampoo Palace, meeting Kim Chow Ling, his uncle Chin Wong Sing, and Ling Foo. When Uncle Chin is found turned to stone and the Moon Monster appears throughout the palace, the gang begins uncovering clues: grease streaks behind a statue, recently used carving tools, and a hidden tunnel leading from a sea cave back into the palace. As Shaggy and Scooby flee from the creature, Velma pieces together the truth behind the legend.
