Grants Pass High School Marching Band and Color Guard – A Swan’s Song – Oregon Champions 2025

Congratulations to the directors, staff, parents, so many hard working volunteers... and especially the hard working kids! They have taken home the top prize in the state of Oregon for the 7th year running. In addition to the top score, they took the top honors in the Music, Color Guard and General Effect categories. And a big shout-out to all the other great performers! If you've never been to a marching band competition, you won't be disappointed. You are sure to be well entertained! Next week (11/08/25) it's off to Sacramento to face some especially tough competition, where Director Lewis Norfleet says they hope to put "the cherry on top" of this amazing Marching Band season. Whatever the outcome, we're sure they will have fun... especially at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom the following day. UPDATE: Grants Pass also took home the gold at the WBA Sacramento State competition on 11-08-25. Once again, congratulations to all!
