Chronomancer has become noticeably better in Path of Exile 2 0.5: new defensive mechanics, reworked abilities, Temporal Rift, Phased Form, and a sense that the subclass finally has a coherent idea. But is it the best Ascension for a sorceress? No. In this video, I break down what was changed in 0.5, which abilities have become truly powerful, which have been removed, and why the Chronomancer now feels better in-game, but still falls short of other subclasses in terms of effectiveness and simplicity.
