INSIDE THE WORLD'S LARGEST BUDDHIST TEMPLE (Borobudur!) 🇮🇩

Day eight of our Lombok to Jakarta journey takes us to the world's largest Buddhist temple! The Borobudur Temple Compound is located on the Indonesian island of Java, just outside the city of Yogyakarta. We drive our motorbike to the temple, stopping off for coconuts on the way before parking up and walking inside. After meeting lots of friendly locals, exploring the temple grounds and diving into the incredible history of the site, we drive to the nearby Klipoh pottery village in Magelang province. Klipoh is a town where 80% of the inhabitants make a living off making pottery and a true hidden hem of Indonesia.
