Hey everyone, it's Day 2 of my countdown to the Lititz Craft Fair Driveway Show on August 8th! I'm on a mission to create 100 watercolors this summer for my one-man show right here on Locust Street in Lititz, PA. I planned to be out painting at 6 AM chasing that perfect morning light and long shadows... but a Duck Donuts gift card from one of my bus students had other plans! First time trying them — fresh handmade donuts won the morning. So I pivoted and headed out later, discovering an awesome backroad with wide-open farm fields and the most charming little roadside stand selling pickled red beets, sugar peas, and hanging laundry that is pure painting eye candy. Watch as I explore the spot and get started on the painting (I forgot to hit record during the actual watercolor, so you'll see the drawing process and the finished piece!).
