THE TALK - Jan Hammer (Cover of Original Version from “Evan”)

You may be surprised by some of the sounds here, as they are so muffled by the outdoor ambient noise of Don and Phil’s microphones in the episode, but if you compare my cover to the excellent rips on YouTube by Marty Castillo and Crockettt1984, you’ll notice anything “new” to you on my cover is actually there in the original—there’s just nothing here but the music. 😎 I had to match the reverb to the toms I sampled from Jan’s “Complete Collection” release so they would sound correct in the cover. It’s hard to say how much reverb Jan used in the original, as all the high frequencies are sadly all but eliminated in the episode. Thanks for watching/reading. Enjoy!
