Ashura 2026 in Helsinki

Midsummer Day coincided with Ashura this year and a few hundred Shia Muslims turned out to mourn Husayn Ibn Ali, who died more than a thousand years ago. The men and women were separated by 15 metres or so. Not your typical Finnish Midsummer.
