Mt. Sembrano via Rayta Campsite | No summit this time 😅

MT. SEMBRANO Pililia, Rizal Major jump-off: Brgy. Hall of Malaya, Pililla Days required / Hours to summit: 1 day / 3-4 hours Specs: Minor climb, Difficulty 3/9, Trail class 1-3 Features: Views of Laguna Lake and Southern Tagalog mountains Sadly, we weren’t able to summit this time. We reached the campsite around 9:00 AM, thinking it would only take about 2 hours more to the summit. After resting and having lunch, we resumed trekking at 1:00 PM. However, midway through the open field, our guide advised us to turn back—it would take another 1–2 hours to reach the summit, and the skies were already showing signs of rain. With the risk of hiking back in the dark under looming weather, it was no longer safe to continue. Still, we’re grateful for the experience and the chance to witness a glimpse of this beautiful mountain. Definitely, we’ll be back to take our revenge and finally reach the summit!
