DIY Solder Fumes Extractor [How I Did It]
In this video, I'll take you through what I did to build this DIY Solder Fumes Extractor, complete with a HEPA grade filter. It uses a 12 volt, 140mm PC fan at the front, to suck in the fumes from soldering, and a similarly sized HEPA grade filter at the back, to filter out the fumes from the air. Ideally, the best step you can take to remove harmful fumes from a workstation is to use a ventilation system which will direct them out of a window.
