Rosso IV Corsa x BMW S1000RR 2:01 at Pirelli Trackday Assen

#Pirelli #RossoIVcorsa #Rosso4Corsa #BMWS1000RR I was invited by Pirelli Moto Benelux to test the brand new Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tires. They were fitted on a 2022 BMW S1000RR. This was my 5th and last session of the day. I was a bit tired so couldn't bump my time below 2:01. It was a cold day, 10-12 degrees celsius. First two laps behind the instructor (No passing allowed) after that time to fly! The Rosso IV Corsa is positioned in between the Rosso IV road tire and the even more track oriented Supercorsa SP. For me it was the second time on Assen and I improved my personal best time from 2:07 tot 2:00. (best lap was in this session). The tires are very confidence inspiring and offer a lot of grip, even on fast long corners it keeps delivering.
