WE_Evolution Explanatory Talk
If you share the feeling that the world is falling apart, you are right. All civilizations follow the same pattern from success to collapse as their own success undermines the natural systems and societal narratives on which they depend. And complex systems like societies which have become ever more rigid and bureaucratic lack the adaptability to change fast enough to avoid disaster. WE - mankind and now also AI - have become the driving force of evolution, but we have increased its speed so much that we struggle to adapt despite our superior knowledge and technology. There is hope if we can learn to cooperate on a global level and solve the problems together but at the moment entrenched interests and sheer laziness prevent most progress.
