CNN reporter Alex Marquardt took the stand on Monday morning, revealing how CNN compiled the story about plaintiff Zachary Young before publishing an alleged defamatory article about the former Navy veteran. Marquardt contacted individuals who had been in touch with Young regarding the alleged Afghan rescue plan, for which Young was reportedly charging large sums of money.
