Cornstarch Dough Ornaments

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing with you how to make some simple cornstarch ornaments to hang on your tree. It's such a fun, easy project that I for sure will be making more of in the future. - - - - Cornstarch Ornament Recipe: 1/2 cup cornstarch 1 cup baking soda 3/4 cup water Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan and heat over medium low heat, stiring often until mixture thicken. Takes about three minutes. The dough should look like play dough or very thick mashed potatoes. Remove from heat, transfer to a clean bowl and cover with damp cloth. Let sit for 30 minutes. Knead lightly, then roll dough out to a 1/4" thickness before cutting shapes with cookie cutters. Place ornaments on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and bake at 175 for 50 minutes.
