Janey Godley fans gather in Edinburgh as comedian bids 'final farewell' to city

Janey Godley has bid her 'final farewell' to her "beloved Festival Home" of Edinburgh as mourners lined the streets of the Royal Mile to pay their respects to the late Scottish comedian. The 60-year-old passed away surrounded by her loved ones at the Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow on November 2 following a tough battle with ovarian cancer. Hundreds of fans gathered in the capital city at around 2pm this afternoon on November 29 as a hearse carrying Janey's coffin began it's journey through the city from Lawnmarket at 2:30pm on Friday.
