Namibia Travel | Africa's EMPTIEST Country is Full of SURPRISES | Vlog In this episode, we travel through one of Africa’s most sparsely populated countries, Namibia, and it turned out to be full of surprises. Our journey began in Windhoek Namibia’s laid-back capital. We walked the quiet streets. Next, we headed into the wild at Daan Viljoen Game Reserve, just outside the city, where we had our first taste of Namibia’s vast, open landscapes. From there, we made our way to the Atlantic coast, stopping in Swakopmund, a charming seaside town known for its colonial German architecture, peaceful beaches, and great seafood. Just down the road, Walvis Bay welcomed us with pink flamingos, salt flats, seal colony and powerful desert winds. One of the trip's highlights was Dune 7 — one of the highest sand dunes in the world. It’s not easy to reach, but the views are unforgettable. Then came the real adventure — hitchhiking across Namibia’s empty desert roads all the way to Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei. Our final and most breathtaking moment was climbing Big Daddy Dune, standing over 300 meters tall — a true giant in the Namib Desert.
