Kenyan banks rank among Africa's strongest

KCB Group leads the region after climbing 23 places in the latest global rankings, narrowly edging Equity Bank Kenya in the race for the top spot. However, the rankings also highlight the significant capital gap between Kenyan banks and Africa's largest financial institutions, as well as the world's leading banking giants.
