Getting Started with QCA - Key Steps and Advanced Topics

If you have heard about Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) as a research method but have never got started on it. You now have an opportunity to get started on this as we are hosting an online event on Wednesday, 4 June, from 1600 to 1700 Melbourne (AEST), which you can join to learn a research method that transcends the qualitative and quantitative divide i.e. applicable to all datatypes. This event will cover both introductory and advanced topics to cater to the diverse backgrounds of the participants. Following is the tentative agenda for this meeting, but we will be open to any suggestions from the participants. 1. Running a basic QCA model in fsQCA 3.0 and interpreting its output. 2. Examining and resolving contradictory rows in a truth table minimisation 3. Linking a methodological execution to advanced theorising topics 4. Any specific issue that the participants may raise.
