Rotifers Day 17 - 19 - Minor Setbacks from Ignoring them

Rotifers Days 17-19 — What Happens When You Ignore Them | I did all that work on day 15 and then immediately stopped paying attention. Two days away after the big setup renovation. Came back on day 17 to find one bubbler had stopped working and the population in that vessel had declined. Nothing catastrophic — but nothing to be proud of either. The cultures that got attention on day 15 bought me enough buffer that nothing crashed completely. The extra volume I added probably saved the operation. Day 18 we feed. Day 19 we do a full zoom in session across all cultures and take an honest look at where everything actually stands. The dialogue doesn't say it directly but the cultures do — neglect shows up in rotifers faster than almost anything else. Not dramatically, not all at once, just quietly and consistently until one day you zoom in and things look worse than they should. The good news is worse than they should still means alive. For now.
