As soon as she stopped her car outside the house, her brother Muninder Singh allegedly came out of the house with a stick and suddenly attacked her. The victim alleges that the accused first broke the car's windows. The woman and her driver Ramji Lal also sustained injuries due to the broken glass. After this, the accused attacked them with a stick and tried to pull them out of the car. During this entire incident, the victim's mother kept pleading from the roof of the house to stop her son, but it is alleged that the accused threatened her too. It is being said that the entire incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed outside the house. This footage has now become a crucial part of the police investigation. The motive behind the case is said to be a property dispute. According to reports, the victim's father was a district judge and owned the property. Since her father's death, the siblings have been locked in a property dispute. According to the victim, Poonam Singh, she began studying for an LLB degree at the age of 50 to vigorously fight this legal battle and is currently in her final year. Poonam Singh reportedly lives with her mother on the first floor of the house, while her brother, Muninder Singh, lives with his family on the ground floor of the same house. Another important development in this case is that a complaint has already been filed against the accused son for assaulting his mother. Currently, the Sodala police station has registered a case based on the victim's complaint. Police are investigating the entire matter based on CCTV footage, eyewitnesses, and other evidence.
