Hiking Mailbox Peak - Conditioning for summer climbing
Mailbox peak is one of the most popular climbs in the greater Seattle area, it's reputation is primarily as a conditioning climb, with 4000 feet of elevation gain and a consistent steep incline its stats make it an accessible peak to prep to climb bigger objectives. I ascended via the old trail, which is the steeper and harder route, then continued on the ridge over to Dirtybox. Enjoy!
