Bonito de Burela y Merluza del Pincho

The Rechupete team recently went to Burela (Lugo) to see firsthand why its bonito and line-caught hake reign supreme at sea, in the fish market, fishmongers, and homes. We were already familiar with its quality, but we wanted to learn more about this famous fish, how it's caught, and who's behind and in front of this great product. We left there thrilled and eager to return this Thursday, August 2nd (for the Bonito Fair). The tasting takes place in a tent set up on the dock, where bonito is served in various ways: in a pie, boiled, grilled… To get you warmed up, here's a video full of wonderful people who work hard every day to bring us the best products in our homes.
