群馬・楽山園の散策：水と山々を取り込んだ回遊式庭園

Walking in Rakusanen, Obata, Kanragun Kanramachi, Gunma. About 30 minutes drive from Takasaki Station. This is a garden in the pond-and-water-envelope style of the Obata Clan's residence built by the Oda clan in the early Edo period. It has the same characteristics as Katsura Detached Palace in Kyoto. The garden has an undulating topography with a pond at its center, multiple teahouses, and an ingenious garden path. The water that pours into the pond is taken from the Ogawa Channel.
