A prenatal trip to Okinawa during the rainy season. I'll make note of the shopping staycation I had during the rainy season!! The rental car was a breeze. 🏨Hotel Hotel in Central Okinawa I visited Busena Terrace and Strata Naha. Since I went during the rainy season, I had a truly wonderful staycation!! I've posted a review of the staycation and breakfast!! Both hotels had their own unique charms. 🥢Restaurants ✔️Taco Rice Watako's ✔️Hong Kong Restaurant: The best restaurant is Okinawa ✔️Uchina Cafe Buku Bukuti Zenzai Shaved Ice ✔️Yappari Steak ✔️Kalubi Plus ✔️Ichiran Ramen ✔️Blue Seal Ice Cream ✔️Doutor Cafe 📍Convenience Stores ✔️Häagen-Dazs Sandwich Earl Grey ✔️Porippi ✔️Family Mart Soufflé Pudding ✔️Japan Papico 🛍️Shopping ✔️I bought Trip Trap at Parco City Akachan Honpo. It was cheaper than a carrot. They also have the popular whitewash. First of all, the exchange rate is 20% lower than in Korea, and the prices are already set low. Plus, with tax refunds, you can buy it for even cheaper than used items at Carrot. ✔️Yachi & Moon Ceramics Select Shop on Ceramic Street They have the most modern, cute, and Japanese ceramics. ✔️Airport Shopping There are many souvenirs you can buy before entering the duty-free zone, such as dressings, salad salt, and salted sand. Also, Okinawa's duty-free shop is DFS. You can earn points for purchases in Okinawa (or other areas like Guam and Hawaii). I was able to use those points to purchase Diptyque body wash. ✔️Dassai Purchase I bought it at the Izumiya Naha branch. According to information I found on Naver Cafe, alcohol is more expensive here than in the mainland. Dassai can be purchased for 40,000-50,000 won on the mainland, but in Okinawa, it's 60,000-70,000 won. Still, it's cheaper than in Korea. It was cheap. Also, Izumiya Naha branch sells various kinds of sake besides Dassai!!! At E-Mart Traders, it was 49,000 won. Tsuruume Yuzu Sake was also sold here for 1,600 yen, but it didn't have any yuzu flavor, so I couldn't buy it.
