One Old Eddystone receiver expected to blow sky high when connected to power, omg, what a surprise!

Any Eddystone experts, pls comment below on these two old beautiful radios and what you may know about the era and model numbers, again, so surprised I didnt simply get electrocuted or simply watch a major explosion happen when I just hooked up. I did have protected points just in case 😊😊😊 Thank you to Michael VK2BMG for your assistance, these radios took a trek from just out of Canberra, up to Mittagong, and then down to Albury for the WIA event and finally to the Meadows Ranch in Tangambalanga North East Victoria. Michael is supplying a service that is much safer than commercial freight options and at a better cost, we roughly spent $150(bird wattmeter)getting these two beautiful pieces of history to us and aa an example of how it can work, I loaded Michael up with 2 x Kenwood SM220 Station Monitors for his return trip where a VK1 client is paying to get his equipment 100% safe. Its a great efficient idea that won't always be practical but when it can work, it works well. cheers Brenton vk3cm
