Trying 5-String Sweep Picking for 7 Days – Day 7 (Worth Every Struggle)
Final day of the challenge. Worked through 80, 90, and 100 BPM today, then went back to 90 BPM to see how far I could really push myself. Honestly, this has been the most challenging and also the most fun exercise series so far. Highly recommended 80 BPM feels pretty accurate now, but once I go above 90 BPM, things become REALLY difficult and demanding very quickly. Even with all the mistakes, unwanted noises, and moments where my brain stopped cooperating, I’m still really proud of the progress and consistency throughout these 7 days. I genuinely think consistency is one of the biggest keys to breaking the intermediate plateau. I’ll definitely keep working on this exercise and similar sweep picking exercises to eventually push beyond 120 BPM and see where this can truly go. Let’s see what happens next 🤘 Comment below if there’s a specific exercise or challenge you want me to try next. Thanks for following! #guitarprogress #intermediateguitar #sweeppicking #arpeggio
