NZ's Fastest Street Car Shootout || Full Coverage & Highlights [4K]

The coolest and most anticipated event of the year is finally upon us: New Zealand's Fastest Street Car Shootout, bringing you the fastest and quickest street cars in the whole country at Meremere Dragway for a full blown drag battle! The event is subdivided into three main categories: 9-second cars, 8-second cars, and 7-second cars, with the ultimate title of New Zealand's fastest street car. As you can imagine, variety is king here. Not just in terms of different vehicles of brands and models, especially for the setups and builds. We have many muscle cars, including Camaro, Belair, Chevelle and Holdens like Monaro, HQ, Kingswood and so forth. Not to mention the Mopar side, with Cuda, Belvedere and Charger. Even a Ford Jailbar rat rod truck, how crazy! All of them have big block V8 racing engines, either with twin turbos or procharged. There is also the JDM and EURO side to it, with a few Nissan Skylines including "Bowla", a 1600 horsepower RB34-powered R32 GTS4, Audi RS3, Golf GTI and "WarVan", a Mazda Bongo van that's been converted into a 9-second drag strip weapon, equipping a 20B three-rotors turbo engine.
