On "My Car Story" we're in Grants Pass OR on 7-26-24. We're looking at a 1964 American Motors AMC Rambler Ambassador 2 Door 990 H in Aurora Turquoise Paint. The car comes with a 327 CI V8 engine and an automatic transmission. The car's Owner is Lance & Susan Gates. They’ve had this car since 1988. Lance shares he was looking for Rambler parts in a junk yard. Susan shares she noticed this blue car in the junk yard and was looking for Lance. She came up behind this car, and Lance came up to the front of this car and they ended up looking at each other through the back glass and windshield at each other and both thought this was a great car. Lance inquired how long the car had been there? He found out it was in the junk yard for only 10 days. They made a deal to purchase the car, got it running, and here it is. ENJOY!
