The Day of the Lord (Zephaniah 1:4-6, 14-16; 2:3)
Lesson Text: Zephaniah 1:4-6, 14-16; 2:3 Hidden in the Storm: https://online.fliphtml5.com/hzabb/Hi... Flipbook case - https://fliphtml5.com/bookcase/ivozzl/ Bookstore: https://www.beyondtheotherside.me/store Thought to Remember: Seek the Lord wholeheartedly Lessons learned: The people of Judah lived in the Promised Land and had committed to God's covenant, yet they compromised their faith by living a double standard of swearing by the Lord while also worshiping false gods. Today, we may not knowingly worship false gods, but we must avoid elevating humans above God. For example, we tend to make more noise for our spiritual leaders in God's house than we do for God. Worship must remain purely about the Lord and not about elevating any human leaders. Also, we tend to worship the blessing instead of the Blesser. It is easy to receive the blessings of God but become so accustomed to them that we forget God provided them.
