JACK'S RAKE - GRADE 1 SCRAMBLE - LANGDALE PIKES

This route begins from the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in Langdale and follows the good path north behind the hotel towards Stickle Tarn. Heading round to the north end of Stickle tarn you will find the path taking you to the base of Jack's rake where from here a grade 1 scramble awaits. Once up and on the summit of the first Wainwright of the day Pavey Ark multiple choices are presented to how you finish the route from here but ultimately you will head down via the good but steep path between Loft Crag and Harrison stickle.
