Here's the description... which you'll find at the very bottom ⤵️ This isn't the result we were hoping for at the Swiss Canyon Trail 😏… But our beautiful weekend in the Swiss Jura ended with a double DNF. 😥 On the 51km course, Camille was feeling great before collapsing at the 20km mark. Despite her badly cut right knee, she bravely continued for 15km before she could no longer go on… She received excellent care from the volunteers and first responders ⛑️. The wound required four stitches, and there's a large hematoma. My wife thanks everyone, especially all the runners who checked on her as they passed by 🤝🙏. As for me, I wasn't feeling my best on the 111km, but I was making steady and steady progress in a breathtaking setting: vertiginous canyons and exceptional views of Lakes Neuchâtel and Geneva, and further on, Mont Blanc and a good part of the Alps. 🤩 But after 57km and 3000m of elevation gain, I absolutely couldn't see myself continuing with a finish line scheduled for the middle of the night, especially since my other half would be waiting for me all that time at the finish line… 😣 So I decided to return to my dear Camille. No regrets, that's life, it's beautiful, and we'll be back next year to finish the adventure. Thank you to the organizers for this wonderful event to experience…
