How are you all doing? 😃 This video is about 5 million yen savings challenge✨ In this third installment of the savings series, former spendthrift Natsutaro discovers the joy of saving money while improving his financial management skills. This is what it was like in May 2024🌷 Since I started working at a new temporary job in February, I've been spending more allowance money to give me a sense of ease while I get used to it.👛 I occasionally skipped lunch and bought things I wanted, so I spent it all in May. But in May, I had 5,000 yen left over instead of my usual 10,000 yen allowance.🙆‍♀️ Now that I've settled into my new workplace and have more time, I'm gradually reviewing my allowance.😃🌱 That was the small change I made in my household finances in May.🌼 ◆About changes in work◆ There are so many things I want to do, and I haven't decided which ones I'm going to focus on yet (I'll talk about them in a video when I've decided☺️). I feel like I don't have enough time for anything, so I wanted to save up as much money as I could while I still have the freedom to do so, so I could have more time to focus on the things I want to do in the future.🌱 I set a deadline and increased my temporary work from 3 days a week to 5 days a week, and my plan to save all of the extra income started at the end of July 2023.💪 Summer 2023...I increased my temporary work from 3 days a week to 5 days a week. Winter 2023...I quit my job because it wasn't a good fit for me. January 2024...I successfully found my next job✨I'll start full-time in February! I think knowing the product name will make it easier to find if it's restocked, so I'm listing it here just in case. (It was a birthday gift from a friend about 10 years ago, so I don't know where I bought it. 🙇‍♀️) ・Envelopes Purchased from the small envelope section at Daiso around the end of the year (New Year's gift-giving season). Some Daiso stores don't stock them outside of the season. I occasionally see banknote-sized envelopes at larger stationery stores and Seria. ・Brown paper inside the envelope Made from a cut-up large brown envelope. ・Schedule book (household account book) I enjoy pasting my own household account book template on the blank pages of my planner.
