Except for Fornication, Divorce and Remarriage in the Bible
The reason Jesus said ‘but from the beginning it was not so’, (concerning divorce) is when two are joined together ‘in the Lord, truly circumcised of heart and wholly submitted to God, there will never be an instance of infidelity that would cause such a thing. Because if the husband loves his wife as Christ loves church, the marriage is forever sanctified and secured in God. That was God’s original intention beginning with Adam and Eve in the Garden, never to be put asunder by betrayal or sin. So those joined with Pure hearts before God and one another will NEVER face the issue of divorce or the consideration of remarriage, unless separated by death. The great difficulty today is that two are being joined, but NEITHER is in the Lord! That's why we have this mess on our hands.
