"Our university was founded in 1920, and from the very beginning we have owned a large sailing ship. First it was the Lwów, then the Dar Pomorza, and today it is the Dar Młodzieży, which was built in 1981-82. In those years, the best materials were not available. That's why we are considering building a successor," says His Magnificence Rector, Prof. Adam Weintrit, PhD, DSc, Eng., of Gdynia Maritime University.
