Latin America is undergoing a sharp shift to the right, a right marked by the “Trump model.” As in the United States itself, sectors that have been marginalized and denied privileges due to an exclusionary economic model—one that has weakened and even eliminated rights acquired in the past—are supporting this political shift that will further exclude them and deepen their marginalization.
