Crochet Blankets Update, Learning to Be Kind to Myself

In today’s video, I’m sharing a little life and crochet update. I’ll show you the progress on two crochet blankets I’ve been working on, talk about the ideas behind them, and where I am with each project right now. But this video is also about something deeper. Lately, I’ve been learning to be more kind to myself, both in life and in crochet. Letting go of perfectionism is not easy. I share some honest thoughts about that process, the challenges, and how it’s slowly changing the way I approach my life and my work. If you’ve ever felt stuck trying to make everything perfect, I hope this video reminds you that it’s okay to slow down, make mistakes, and simply enjoy the process. Thank you for being here and for sharing this journey with me 💛 If you’d like to support my work, you can purchase one of my patterns or make a small donation through my Ko-fi page. It truly helps me continue creating and sharing with you. 💖 My Etsy and Ravelry shops Etsy shop: https://olgapoltava.etsy.com Ravelry shop: https://www.ravelry.com/stores/olga-p... ☕️ My Kofi page Ko-fi page: https://ko-fi.com/R6R6155UZ 00:00 Intro & Channel Update Schedule 00:23 Project 1: The Sampler Blanket (One-Row Repeat) 01:09 How to Join Squares: Single Crochet & Slip Stitches 02:22 Encouraging Sustainability: Using Scrap Yarn 03:21 Project 2: My First 100% Wool Blanket 04:32 Pattern Details: Easy Two-Round Repeat 05:46 Spotting an Imperfection: The Carry-Over Yarn 07:01 Learning to Let Go of Perfectionism 08:37 A Story from My 20s: The Calculus Test Lesson 11:28 Managing Current Projects & Safeguarding Energy 12:50 Lifestyle Changes: Respecting the Aging Process 13:52 Outro: A Reminder to Be Kind to Yourself #crochet #OlgaPoltava
