On April 4th, 2023, fans of Pretty Lights were overjoyed when Derek broke nearly 5 years of silence to announce his return to playing shows and festivals this year. For years, his fans have been hopeful that this time would come, though the more time passed, the more unsure people became about whether or not this would ever be a reality.
