Field Marshal Montgomery at the Paisley British Championships

This is Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band under Pipe Major Richard Parkes MBE playing their medley in the Grade One British Championship Competition held on St James Playing Fields in Paisley on 21 May 2016. The band's medley was: The Sandpiper, Archie Beag, Bronni's Blue Brozzie, La Baum, Lady Medelina Sinclair, Stirling Castle, Sleepie Maggie, Tail Toddle, Francis Morton's Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band was placed second overall. Both piping judges ranked them first. All bands in Grade One had to contend with intrusive announcements from the adjacent competition ring. This should have been sorted out early in the day - but it wasn't.
