Fanes and La Varella peak || Dolomites · Alta Badia · Mareo

We had plenty of time for ski mountaineering this year. But one tour was missing, one that has a special meaning for us. The hike through Fanes and then reaching the La Varella peak in the Fanes Sennes Braies Natural Park. Last time we did it together was a decade ago. Work and family didn't permit us anymore to do some activity together in the last years. The longest we could be out of home was 2 hours and in rare occasions just a bit more. That's why we take the best out of this situation and enjoy every moment together doing what we always liked and also what keeps us together. So in some way we have also to thank COVID?
