Walk vs. bus (arriving in 10 minutes), 80-minute restaurant wait vs. takeout, and finally… arriving at Ichiran at 11 p.m. only to see a 200-minute wait 😱 In the end, we made the realistic choice and wrapped up with a comforting bowl of Taiwan beef noodles at the airport. During the day, we hiked up a hill for the sweaty sunset trek, wandered the night market with the tempting smell of stinky tofu, and even had Uber fail on us completely. Still, bubble tea, sweet desserts, and our fun back-and-forth kept us smiling all the way through. And then—rain in Taipei! It made the day even more unforgettable.
