Jeane was France's answer to Donna Summer with this hit, which was also big in the French-speaking world. I first heard it on a K-Tel album for the Quebec market in 1980, and finally found Jeane's Greatest Hits CD. As of May 2020, I have just been informed that CBS did release a 45 rpm 12" single of this song in France... and I have yet to hear it! But it is on Discogs... I love how the lyrics change after the ballad intro from French to English - like Abba said, English was the language of Disco! How could Quebec ever think of separating with music like this out there?? Enjoy!!
