Steel darts are fascinating... so small, so pretty, so pointy. But truth be told, as a projectile they aren't really very well suited. Made to be thrown by hand over very short distances, they are typically very fragile. You can't shoot them like a normal crossbow bolt or arrow as the flights would simply crumble.
