Support this channel on Patreon!   / frankszkynightcore   This song was composed by Esteban de Luca after the victory in the Battle of Suipacha ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_... ), where royal forces from Peru and local militias (loyal to the Council of Regency in Cadiz) were defeated by militias loyal to the revolutionary government established in Buenos Aires. This victory cost the Peruvian governors their prestige, which spread the revolution to even more cities in what is now Bolivia.
