Her journey into the textile industry was deeply rooted in her family’s legacy- her father had been in the business for over 30 years. However, her father's products were sold wholesale without a brand name, labeled as Made in China, something that never sat well with Rubina Mam. Determined to change this, she transformed the family business into a proud Nepali brand, ensuring that every product was now recognized as Made in Nepal. With a strong sense of innovation and a drive to elevate local craftsmanship, she expanded the legacy she inherited, creating a product that stands for both style and substance. Her journey was far from easy. The road to building Wosha Nepal was filled with hurdles- from a rough start to navigating through the unpredictable tides of entrepreneurship. One of the major challenges was the lack of skilled manpower and modern equipment, essential for delivering high-quality products. Moreover, the specialized printing and designing process required for the bed sheets could only be done in Birgunj, significantly increasing production costs. Yet, even amidst these challenges, she remained resilient. Her determination was consistently fueled by the unwavering support of her family and in-laws, who stood by her side during every rise and fall. Her story is a testament to how passion, perseverance, and the right support system can turn dreams into reality.
