How to get efficient air in concrete with the Super Air Meter.

Creating and stabilizing the right air void systems in concrete is challenging. This video explains the importance of getting the right bubble system in concrete so that your air void systems can be efficient. An efficient air void system has a great air void spacing at a low air volume. To measure this the video uses two values that come from the Super Air Meter. The air volume and the SAM Number. These two numbers can be used to make the efficiency chart. Several examples are shown of how this efficiency chart can be used with real concrete mixtures. You can get more papers that explain how the efficiency chart is made and also some free spreadsheet tools at www.tylerley.com/SAM.
